customers service

May 18, 2006

sometimes i feel pity for the customers service people, like Fastlink people and telecom companies in general, they have to be very polite and use somehow soft accent with every one who calls them,( mar7aba sayyed ra2eef , sayyed ra2eef ma3i?) most of them start talking like this but when it comes to Umniah they start by asking me about my name, anyway, i remember once i was talking to a guy working @ Jordan telecom , he was trying to help me in such a polite way and talking with a calm voice then he put me on hold and start talking to his partner,it seemed like the guy was wearing a mask.being polite and calm with the customers and offensive or just normal jordanian guy when he talks with partners.

sometimes i feel they over react when they keep saying things like " ayya 5edmeeh 7adrtk " they repeat and repeat it.

once i talked to one of them asking just one question, he answered it and just kept talking and talking about everything he knew about the company 😀 i wanted to end the call, but i felt it wont be a polite move, so i just kept saying thank you, i need nothing more. maybe he was a new one and was taking the opportinity to take a short trainig course on me.

Well .. the problem is that there is no proper training and no one understands the concept to begin with …

I had so many bad experiences with customer service representatives and I refer you to a post I dedicated to this issue:

Being extra nice is as worse for me as being mean! I hate the way the keep saying ‘ay khidmeh tanieh’ over and over again, they won’t let you end the call, because as you mentiond it’s not poilte to end it while they’re still talking but at the same time, they just wouldn’t stop!!! It’s so annoying~

    Astaghfor Allah AL 3azeem..ya3ni haik mesh 3ajebko o haik mesh 3ajebko 😛

Kidding..listen..try this trick..when you call again, surprise the person who answers you by asking him first “Meen Ma3i?”
